Senior Engineer_ AFI (Advanced Failure Investigator) - Greater China

岗位职责
· Overall operate the AFI Advanced Field Investigation activities in providing failure analysis investigation in Greater China, either on site or at local workshop or factories, and compile reports to support QM (Quality Manager),
· Consult with Claim Administrators for Claim Decisions.
· Discuss findings of investigations with QM, escalate potential quality issues to QM, and support 8D process led by QM.
· Assign laboratory (metallurgy and chemistry) analysis tasks to FAC (Failure Analysis Center) in support of AFI investigations
· Compile well-written, factually correct, effective and legally airtight reports utilizing standard templates and all information to QM.
· Initiate dialogs, meeting, and projects for the purposes of clarifying AFI processes and investigation of engine and components failures.
· Determine the resources, qualifications and trainings required for 1st Level Customer Service personnel to assist AFI activities.work with QM to decide priority, extend of investigation based on capacity.initiate training and information sessions for 1st Level Customer Service to cultivate key contacts supporting AFI objectives.attend AFI Annual Meeting held by quality team in headquarter, and AFI info Calls.furnish substantially complete reports in advance or alongside parts returned to FAC for laboratory analysis.

任职要求
· Degree holder in Engine（内燃机相关专业） or similar or possess equivalent qualifications. Formal education can be compensated by rich skills gained through practical experience in field investigation and quality
· At least 5 years relevant working experiences in diesel application engineering, including the investigative work relating to diesel engine failure
· Able to communicate in English in oral & written, able to use office softwares
· Good knowledge of diesel engine and engine electronic controls
· Competent to handle sophisticated and advanced failure analysis machinery, tools & equipment for Failure Analysis and Quality Control functions
· Good analytical skills to conduct elaborate investigative work in failure analysis
· Good communications and interpersonal skills
Willing to travel at short notice and able to adapt to cross cultures
